Providing Joint Replacement Treatments in Malden and Stoneham, MA

Joint Replacement at Agility Orthopedics

If you knew before a hip or knee replacement how well you would feel after your recovery, you would likely not tolerate the discomfort and waiting. Still, it is a big decision.

At Agility, we explore other options first. One of our board-certified orthopedic surgeons performs a complete evaluation of your strength, range of motion and ambulation. Xray and radiological tests provide the latest information on your condition. Rest, physical therapy and medication may be prescribed. In some cases, non-surgical treatments such as injections can manage pain and improve function in your knee or hip, providing relief for up to 6 months.

If your doctor determines that joint replacement is the best course of action, we will help you through the process, coordinating your care in and out of the hospital.

If the time is right for joint replacement, speak with your provider. To learn more about your condition, visit our Learning Center.
