Agility Orthopedics is pleased to welcome John Andrew Younghein, MD, an Orthopedic Spine Surgeon to the practice.
“We are excited to have Dr. Younghein join our team,” said Marie Walcott, MD, a partner at Agility Orthopedics. “We are pleased that we can now offer our community access to a full spectrum of orthopedic spine care.”
Dr. Younghein completed his fellowship in spine surgery at Brown University’s Alpert School of Medicine – Department of Orthopedic Surgery. In addition, he completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at multiple Tufts Affiliated Hospitals including Tufts Medical Center, New England Baptist Hospital and Newton-Wellesley Hospital. Dr. Younghein also served as the Chief Resident.
“Muscular and nerve pain, disease and injury associated with the spine can affect your entire body not to mention your quality of life,” said Dr. Younghein, Orthopedic Spine Surgeon. “I am pleased to join the team and look forward to helping patients define a plan that is in the best interest of their health and goals.”
Dr. Younghein treats conditions including back and neck pain, spinal stenosis, sciatica, myelopathy, cervical radiculopathy, disc herniation, degenerative disc disease, compression fractures, congenital disorders of the spine and more. He also treats general orthopedic conditions.
